blue states lose
Here's a treat for your morning: this is a program that plots people's political contributions by geographic area. As in, exact loactions. So type in your zipcode and spy on your neighbors. I am not sure how reliable it is though. My neighborhood is about 99% blue, which kind of surprises me (I expected there to be some variety).
I realize that political contributions are public information, but it still creeps me out that you can look it up on a map with names and addresses. My hood in NYC is 100% dem, Sunriver is 75% dem. No shock there.

damn it - the site is currently experiencing errors…must have been because they were trying to generate all those red spots for the areas i typed in! hahaha…

Wow
this is cool. Way cool. I was surprised to see some republican donations in my very ultra liberal neighbourhood (shorewood, wi). Nice little applet! I will be sure to link to it on my blog :)
