There have been a ton of stills released from the movie version of Patrick Suskind’s novel Perfume (completely amazing, you should read it). The casting looks perfect. This is one movie that may live up to the book. However, Grenouille is supposed to be deformed and ugly. Here he looks like the singer of an emo band. Shit, I love period movies.
