Hunting for Witches
Does Bloc Party’s “Hunting For Witches” make anyone else cry uncontrollably? Ok, maybe it is just me.

Me too.
A weird thing happened to me recently involving this song. I was walking down Tavistock Square where the Number 30 Bus exploded and this song came on my iPod. It was on shuffle. How strange is that?
The song that really gets me though is ‘Waiting For The 7.18′ and the lines “I can still kick a ball a thousand yards/Cling to bottles/And memories of the past”. I’m still quite young but those lines just hit me hard.
I really don’t get the ‘East London is a vampire’ line though. I have this rather nice panoramic view of East London where I am and I just don’t get it. It’s just not true.
If I see Kele on the tube I’ll probably just go “ah well, you’re probably gonner write a song about this trip aren’t you???”. At times it just seems he’s writing about the most obvious things. I haven’t decided if it is good or not.
