saddest songs ever

Some British media compiled the saddest songs ever. THIS is totally up my ally. I pride myself on making suicide mixes. Notice “Angels” is on here- not the TNAB version, because that certainly isn’t sad.

1. The Verve – The Drugs Don’t Work
2. Robbie Williams – Angels
3. Elton John – Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
4. Whitney Houston – I Will Always Love You
5. Sinead O’Connor – Nothing Compares 2 U
6. Will Young – Leave Right Now
7. Elvis Presley – Are You Lonesome Tonight
8. Christina Aguilera – Beautiful
9. James Blunt – Goodbye My Lover
10. Radiohead – Fake Plastic Trees

  1. jez, different topic: thanks to u i figured out what’s the sound of no hands clapping :) man i feel so dumb

its clear that this top 10 is been apreciated by the younger people (i’m 22 by the way) and there are no competition for true sad songs (my opinion):

    1. Schindlers List Theme song – John Williams
    2. Please dont Go – Andre Rieu
    3. Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod – Andre Rieu
    4. Sur Le Fil – Yann Tiersen
    5. Adagio for Strings – Samuel Barber
    6. Adagio in G minor for Organ & Strings – Albinoni
    7. Yasashisa no Shouzou – Keitaro Takanami or Rie Tanaka, i’m not really shure (from Chobits OST)
    8. B.T. – Kajiura Yuki
    9. Canta per me II – Kajiura Yuki
    10. Romance Anonym – Andre Rieu

  2. concrete angel and love me are the saddest songs ever.
