Congrats to me!
I’m up right now because I just experiences my FIRST EARTHQUAKE. Clearly, nothing crazy, just a 4.2, but it definately woke me up and it was the strangest feeling. Funny, people are screaming and carrying on and rioting all night outside my window, but it was dead quiet after it happened. I guess because’s it’s something to get used to. Yay, I’m a true Californian now.
Experiences like that are always good to have as long as no-one gets hurt. I remember my Japanese friend in the UK getting really excited about “his first trip in a British ambulance” after a car accident.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, I guess…

Earthquakes shmearthquakes. Try seeing a mountain explode when you’re 4. That’s scary stuff.
